gromi - Terms of Use
The rules for using the gromi app, its App Clip and this website, gromi.id. They are short, and written to be read.
Last updated 16 October 2026
gromi compares ride fares. It shows you what Gojek, Grab, inDrive and Maxim are asking for the same trip, and opens the one you pick in that provider's own app. gromi never books a ride, never takes a payment for one and never drives anyone. By using gromi you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Prices are estimates
Every fare in gromi is the price a provider gave for your trip at the moment gromi checked. Providers change prices all the time, with demand, traffic, time of day and their own vouchers, so the price you see in the provider's app when you book can be higher or lower. Some fares are a range or a starting price rather than one number, and gromi shows them that way. Routes, distances and travel times are estimates too. A provider may also not answer at all, in which case it is left out of the comparison. The price that counts is the one the provider's app shows you before you confirm.
Your ride is with the provider
When you tap a fare, gromi opens that provider's app. Booking, payment, the ride itself, cancellations, refunds, safety and any dispute are between you and that provider, under its own terms. gromi is not a party to the ride and cannot act for you or for the provider.
gromi is independent
gromi is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Gojek, Grab, inDrive or Maxim. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners, and gromi uses them only to say which services are being compared.
Reminders and notifications
A reminder checks the fares for a saved trip on the days and at the time you choose, and sends you the result as a notification. Reminders are a best effort, not a guarantee. To spread the load, a reminder can arrive a few minutes before or after the time you set. It may not arrive at all if notifications are off, your phone is offline, a provider does not answer or a service gromi relies on is down, and a result that would arrive more than about 15 minutes late is not sent, because the fare in it would already be stale. Do not rely on a reminder for anything time-critical.
If you turn on News and offers in the Profile tab, gromi may also send you occasional news and offers about gromi. It is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off there at any time.
Your account
Comparing fares needs no account. Reminders and saved places need one, made with Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. Keep access to that Apple or Google account safe: whoever can sign in with it can use your gromi account. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab; that removes it and everything gromi keeps with it, immediately and for good, as described in the privacy policy. gromi may suspend or close an account that is used against these terms.
gromi Pro
Comparing fares is free. Some features, such as keeping more than one reminder, need gromi Pro, an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, sold through the App Store. The price is shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID's subscription settings. Deleting your gromi account does not cancel it. Apple handles payment and refunds under its own terms, and gromi cannot issue refunds itself.
Using gromi fairly
gromi is for your own, personal use. Please do not:
- copy, scrape, resell or build a service on gromi's fares or results,
- send automated requests to gromi, or try to get around its limits,
- try to break, overload, probe or reverse engineer gromi or its servers, except where the law allows it,
- use gromi for anything unlawful, or to misuse the providers' own services.
The service can change
gromi is offered as it is and as available. Features, providers and the areas covered can change, pause or stop, and the service can be down from time to time. gromi will try to keep it working well, but does not promise that it will always be available, complete or free of errors.
Limits of liability
As far as the law allows, gromi is not responsible for a difference between a fare it showed and the price you paid, for anything that happens on or around a ride, for anything a provider does or does not do, or for a reminder that arrives late or not at all. gromi is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability to you for anything arising from gromi is limited to what you paid for gromi Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
What gromi collects, why, and how to delete it is in the privacy policy.
Changes
gromi may update these terms. If it changes them in a material way, the date at the top changes with it and the updated terms are published here before the change takes effect. Using gromi after that means you accept the updated terms.
